The accommodation at Karoo 1 was perfect and we felt right at home with the staff and facilities. Our company sponsored a weekend for my partner and I and we will definately be back again soon.
What a wonderful experience and place! Just outside of Cape Town the little farm set the scene for an incredible photo shoot for our clients catelog. Even my dogs enjoyed the adventure out into the Karoo bush.
Great place for a quiet getaway. However the rooms are cold on winter nights. Very good restaurant meals, and friendly service. Many additional facilities such as a swimming pool, but ideally for summer.
The Karoo Hotel is an excellent place to stay, I had a great time over the weekend, it’s a 2 hours drive from Cape Town on the N1.
Well worth the visit if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Food, service and rooms was excellent.
